AlphaRock Ingredients, Explained
Eight ingredients: two with individually stated amounts, six inside a shared blend. Here's what each one is, and what it's included for.
Niacin (Vitamin B3)
Stated individually on the label.
Niacin is converted by the body into NAD, a coenzyme central to how cells release energy from food. That's established biochemistry rather than an emerging theory, which is why B-vitamins like niacin appear so consistently in daily wellness formulas.
Zinc (as Zinc Oxide)
Stated individually on the label.
Zinc contributes to normal immune function, macronutrient metabolism, and reproductive health. Worth knowing: zinc oxide is absorbed at a lower rate than forms like zinc citrate or gluconate (roughly 50% versus around 61%, per NIH figures) — a detail only visible because the label names the specific form used.
L-Citrulline
Inside the 6-ingredient blend.
An amino acid the body converts into arginine, a direct precursor to nitric oxide — the compound that signals blood vessels to relax and widen. This is the most developed circulation-focused research on the entire panel, though published studies typically use several grams, well above what a shared six-ingredient blend can provide.
L-Carnitine
Inside the 6-ingredient blend.
Involved in transporting fatty acids into cells to be used as fuel, which is why it shows up throughout energy metabolism and exercise research. Its role here supports the formula's everyday-energy positioning.
Pine Bark Extract
Inside the 6-ingredient blend.
Supplies proanthocyanidins, polyphenol compounds studied for antioxidant and circulatory activity. Frequently paired with grape skin extract in formulas built around this same category of plant compounds.
Maca Root Extract
Inside the 6-ingredient blend.
An Andean root with a long history of traditional use, and a growing body of small human trials examining mood, energy, and general wellbeing. Included here for general vitality and stamina support.
Grape Skin Extract
Inside the 6-ingredient blend.
A source of resveratrol and related polyphenols from the wine grape, most often included alongside pine bark extract for complementary antioxidant and circulatory support.
Saffron Stigmas Extract
Inside the 6-ingredient blend.
One of the most costly botanicals by weight, harvested entirely by hand. Its inclusion rounds out the formula's botanical component alongside pine bark, grape skin, and maca root.
What the Blend Does and Doesn't Tell You
Two of the eight AlphaRock ingredients carry individually stated amounts: niacin and zinc. The remaining six — L-citrulline, L-carnitine, pine bark extract, maca root extract, grape skin extract, and saffron stigmas extract — sit inside a combined blend with no published per-ingredient breakdown.
That's the central limit of this label. Published research on ingredients like L-citrulline often uses doses of several grams; without a per-ingredient breakdown, there's no way to know how the blend total splits between the six, so that research can't be mapped directly onto what's actually in the capsule. Proprietary blends are common across this category rather than unusual, but the honest position is: no per-ingredient amount has been estimated anywhere on this site.
